Air India Flight Divert to Abu Dhabi from Tel Aviv Due to Missile Attack Near Israel Airport

Air india flight divert: Air India aircraft going from Delhi to Tel Aviv was diverted for Abu Dhabi on Sunday (May 4, 2025). The diversion was done due to a missile attack near Israeli Airport.

According to the report of the news agency PTI, when this incident happened, flight number AI-139 Boeing 787 aircraft was moving towards its destination. The incident occurred about an hour before its scheduled landing. The aircraft will be brought back to Delhi. According to flight data tracked from flight -radar 24, this decision of dyrojan was taken when the aircraft was flying from the airspace in Jordan.

Air India did not release a statement

As a result, the flight from Tel Aviv to Delhi has been canceled. No official statement has been released by Air India about this development. Tel Aviv Airport Authority has temporarily postponed all air traffic. These steps have been taken after the missile attack by Yemen targeting Israel.

‘Yemen attack on Ben Gurian Airport could not be stopped’

Huti rebels of Yemen attacked Ben Gurian Airport in Tel Aviv with a ballistic missile today. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has called a meeting regarding this attack. Netanyahu will discuss with the officials of the Israeli Defense Force (IDF) in this meeting.

According to Israeli media, the attack from Yemen at Ben Gurian Airport in the capital Tel Aviv could not be stopped. Due to this, the ballistic missile of Huti rebels fell directly to the airport. 6 people have suffered injuries in this attack. All these injured have been admitted to the hospital. According to reports, before this attack, Israel had stopped taking off and landing at the airport.
