America or Russia, who will be the king in the sea? Know whose submarine is so powerful

After former Russian President Dimitri Medvedev reacted sharply to US President Donald Trump’s ‘Dead Economy’, the US has ordered two of its nuclear submarines to strategic places. This step is reminiscent of the old military strategy adopted in the Cold War period.

Trump took this decision when his tariffs and threats of restrictions did not have any special impact on Russia. The war between America and Russia is now seen in the depths of the sea, not on the ground. Both countries have deployed their nuclear submarines. The question arises, who is more powerful? Let’s know which country’s submarine is more dangerous and modern.

What is ‘Dead Hand’?
The ‘Dead Hand’ system is an automatic or semi-automatic nuclear weapon control mechanism, developed by the Soviet Union during the Cold War. This system is designed in such a way that even if the entire leadership of the country is destroyed in a nuclear attack, this system can still retaliate a wider nuclear. There was a strong response from the US after Medvedev reminded of this system.

Russia’s sharp reaction
Although there has been no official statement on this American decision by the Russian government, the Kremlin, but a senior Russian MP Victor Vodolatski has warned that America should not raise the confusion that it has taken a big military step. He said that the number of Russia’s atomic submarines is much higher than the US and the submarines of America which have been sent near Russia, are already eyeing Russia and they are under its supervision.

America’s nuclear submarine capacity

Ohio-class ballistic missile submarines

The US Navy has at least 14 ballistic missile submarines (SSBNS) of Ohio-Class, called ‘boomers’. The biggest feature of these submarines is their capacity to deliver their stealth and nuclear weapons accurately. These submarines are capable of patrolling for a long period and do not require any big overhole for 15 years. A maximum of 20 submarine -launched ballistic missiles (SLBMs) can be deployed in each submarine. His main weapon is Trident II D5 missile.

American fast attack submarines

Virginia-class
The US has 24 nuclear attack submarines of Virginia-Class, including submarines such as USS HAWAII, USS Missouri, and USS North Carolina. It is based on America’s newest undersigned warfare technology. These specially have facilities to support the missions of Special Operation Forces. There is also a ‘lock-in/lock-out chamber’ for divers. These submarines have Tomahawk and Harpoon missiles, as well as MK-48 Torpedo.

Sevulf-class
A total of 3 submarines of Civulf-Class are included in the US Navy fleet. The first submarine USS Seawolf was included in 1997. These submarines are devoid of vertical launch systems (vertical projection) but they have eight torpedo tubes and their torpedo chambers are able to keep 50 weapons.

Los Angeles-Class (688-Class)

Los Angeles-class submarines are the backbone of the US Submarine Force. Of these, at least 24 submarines are in service. They were constructed in 1976 with the aim of combating the Soviet Union during the Cold War. These submarines have proved to be extremely effective in high speed, stealth technology, and deep sea war operations. Gradually, they are replacing Virginia-class submarines.

Russia’s nuclear submarine capacity

Ballistic missile submarines:

Borai-class
Russia has 8 Borei-class ballistic missile submarines (SSBNS). Each submarine has 16 calls SLBM missiles and six 533mm torpedo launchers. Apart from this, these submarines can also stain anti-Sabarine rockets and sea landmines. Their party is of more than a hundred marines. In future, these submarines will become Russia’s most advanced strategic naval system.

Delta IV-Class
Before the arrival of Borai-class submarines, Russia’s atomic strength was the basis of delta IV-class submarines. This category was developed with typhoon-class. Currently, at least 6 of these submarines are in service. Each has 16 cinema SLBM missiles and these still remain the backbone of sea -based nuclear strength of Russia.

Fast attack submarines

Yasen-class
Russia’s Navy has 4 nuclear attack submarines of Yasen-Class. They are small in size and require less crew. Each Yasen-Class submarine can carry either five 3m54-1 Calibra missiles or four P-800 onix missiles. These missiles are capable of attacking enemy’s ground bases and ships from long distances.

Akula-Class
Russia’s Akula-class submarines are also called ‘sharks’, because ‘Akula’ means shark. This submarine is considered to be the answer to Los Angeles-Class of America. Russia has about five submarines of this class in service. These submarines can enter the enemy’s field with extremely calm operating capacity and can run calibra, onix or grenite missiles, as well as equipped with deadly torpedos.
