Bangladesh is not careful with the Yunus government! In 2024, 2200 violent incidents against Hindus are testifying

Since Sheikh Hasina’s resignation, the process of attacking temples and killing of Hindus continues in Bangladesh. In the latest case, a Hindu community leader was beaten to death in Dinajpur, Bangladesh, but yet the Yunus government has not been able to know who are involved in the murder.

According to the information, Bhabesh Chandra Roy (58 years) was the vice -president of the Biraral unit of Bangladesh Pooja Udapan Parishad and was a prominent leader of the Hindu community in Dinajpur region. On Friday, some people took him with him. Later, his body was thrown out of the house and ran away. Bhabesh Chandra Roy’s wife has also identified two kidnapping people, but the local police has not reached the accused.

Ministry of External Affairs expressed strong opposition to the incident Foreign Ministry spokesman Randhir Jaiswal wrote on X that we have noted the kidnapping and brutal murder of Hindu minority leader Bhabesh Chandra Roy in Bangladesh with grief. The murder follows a pattern of systematic harassment of Hindu minorities under the interim government, while the criminals of such incidents roam fearlessly. Jaiswal said that we condemn the incident and once again remind the interim government to make up their responsibility of security without making excuses or discriminating."Text-Align: justify;"> ‘2200 violent incidents against Hindus in Bangladesh in 2024’ Recently, India’s Foreign Ministry had stated in a reply in Rajya Sabha that in 2024, there have been 2200 violent incidents against Hindus in Bangladesh in the year 2024. These incidents have increased by more than 700 percent in 2024. The Ministry of External Affairs said that in 2022, there were 47 incidents of violence against Hindus in Bangladesh and 300 incidents in 2023.

The incidents of attacks against Hindus in Bangladesh last year began after Sheikh Hasina resigned in India. Even after opposition to India and the whole world, Hindus and other minorities are not feeling safe in Bangladesh. Prime Minister himself Narendra Modi has also raised the matter of atrocities on Hindus in Bangladesh.

Congress has also expressed sharp reaction to the incident of Dinajpur. Congress national spokesperson Jairam Ramesh wrote in a post on X that the Indian National Congress strongly condemns the brutal murder of Bhabesh Chandra Roy, a prominent Hindu community leader in Dinajpur, Bangladesh. According to the Congress spokesperson, the Congress party urges the Government of India to take the matter with supreme readiness and pressurize the Bangladesh government to ensure quick transparent investigation and bring the culprits to the dock of justice.
