Usa news: US President Donald Trump has once again targeted his colleagues of the NATO faction. He has said that America cannot protect those NATO allies who have not made enough contribution to defense spending. He said this at the Oval Office of White House on Thursday (March 6).

Donald Trump has been saying for a long time that the defense spending of the rest of NATO members is much less than in America. It is affecting America, due to which Trump is angry. He has also indicated many times to exclude America from NATO. Questions are also being raised about the future of NATO from his attitude.

Talking to reporters at the Oval Office, Trump did not show a commitment to protect Tow colleagues. He said, ‘If you do not pay, we will not defend. I said this seven years ago and due to this he paid hundreds of billion dollars. During this, he said that some NATO members have increased defense spending but this is not enough.

Trump has long been pressurizing NATO colleagues to spend more on defense. He argues that the US carries a more heavy burden than other members. Each member of NATO is expected to spend two percent of his GDP on defense, but Trump has insisted on increasing this target to five percent.
