Sunita williams in International Space Station: NASA’s astronaut Sunita Williams revealed in a press conference from the International Space Station (ISS) that the most difficult thing that was stuck in space for more than 9 months, his return to his and his family on Earth was uncertain. He said, “The most difficult is that the people on the ground do not know when we will return. It has been like an emotional fluctuations for them, perhaps more than us.”

Sunita Williams and her partner American astronaut Buch Wilmore are expected to return to Earth from SpaceX’s crew dragon mission in mid -March. However, his return has been postponed several times before.

Technical problems increased NASA worry

Both of them left for space in the Boeing Starlineer capsule in June 2024, but had to stay on ISS due to technical fault in the capsule. Due to this problem, his return continued to postpone, which was filled with mission uncertainty.

Trump targeted Biden administration

US President Donald Trump sent a message to astronauts during a press conference at the White House, saying “We love you and are ready to bring you back.” At the same time, he assured that there will be no further delay regarding his return.

Trump blamed former President Joe Biden’s administration for this delay. He said “You should not have stayed there for so long. The most unqualified President (Biden) of our history allowed this to happen, but it will not happen now.” Apart from this, Trump said that he had allowed SpaceX CEO Elon Musk a week ago to be responsible for this delay, which astronaut Buch Wilmore, who was also right.

Expect relief for astronauts trapped on ISS

This mission was full of difficulties for both astronauts trapped on ISS, but now their safe return is being expected. After the successful launch of SpaceX’s crew Dragon Mission, Williams and Wilmore will soon return to the earth, which will provide relief to their family and scientific community.
