He said, “If PM Oli is called to India, it will be a matter of great pleasure for our relationships.”

During a meeting with Indian Foreign Minister S Jaishankar in the city of Muscat in Oman, Deuba held a thorough discussion on India-Nepal relations. He said, “We have always been able to have meaningful conversations and our relationships are going in the right direction.” During this period, various issues were discussed, which discussed ways to further strengthen hydropower projects, trade, and bilateral relations.

Talking on BRI with China, Deuba said that it is only for development projects, not part of any strategic alliance.
