Pak PM Controversial Statement Says If Pakistan does not overtake India my name is not shahbaz sharif

Pak PM controversial statement: Pakistan Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif made a big statement about India in a public meeting on Saturday (February 22, 2025), which saw tremendous reactions on social media. Shahbaz Sharif said that if Pakistan did not come forward from India, then my name is not Shahbaz Sharif.

His statement has warmed the market of discussions on social media as well as political circles. Shahbaz Sharif gave this statement while addressing a large gathering in Dera Ghazi Khan, where he also inaugurated several development projects.

Shahbaz Sharif’s statement
Shahbaz Sharif pledged to remove Pakistan from the economic crisis and make it a self -sufficient country. He said in his speech, “If we do not leave India behind, then my name is not Shahbaz Sharif. We will make Pakistan a great nation and overtake India.” Sharif further said that his government will free Pakistan from debt. Will focus on creating a self -sufficient economy. He claimed that his government has reduced inflation from 40% to only 2%. However, there was widespread discussion and criticism not only in India but also in Pakistan about his statement.

Reactions on social media
This statement of Shahbaz Sharif received tremendous reactions to social media platform X (East Twitter). Many users made fun of his statement and described it as “beyond reality”.

Some funny reactions:
One user wrote, “I have not taken medicine, have lost their mental balance.” Another user wrote, “Such confidence is needed that someone needs in life.”
So the other wrote, “Champions Trophy Except, they should host the clown Olympics, it will be a hit immediately. “

Shahbaz Sharif’s double trend
Let us know that earlier this month, Shahbaz Sharif expressed his desire for peace talks with India. He had said that Pakistan wants to resolve all issues including Kashmir controversy through peaceful talks. He made this statement on the occasion of “Kashmir solidarity day” in Muzaffarabad (Pakistan occupied Kashmir). But now the question arises that if Pakistan wants friendship with India, then why is it talking about overtaking India and leaving it behind?
