Pakistan on the issue of jammu and kashmir: Pakistan has expressed displeasure over the statement of India, which said that Pakistan should vacate PoK (Pakistan Occupied Kashmir). On Friday, Pakistan’s Foreign Ministry issued a statement and said that this statement of India is false and cheap.

Pakistan said that instead of making such statements, India should try to find the solution of Kashmir according to the wishes of the people there.

Disputed area told Jammu and Kashmir

Pakistan, in its statement, described Jammu and Kashmir as a disputed area and said that it should be decided on the basis of the decisions of the United Nations (UN) and the opinion of Kashmiris. He said, “Jammu and Kashmir is an area that the whole world has considered disputed and its final decision should be according to the proposals of UN and the desire of Kashmiri people.”

Pakistani Army Chief General Asim Munir described Kashmir as Pakistan’s ‘nerve’. India’s Foreign Ministry responded to this on Thursday. External Affairs Ministry spokesman Randhir Jaiswal said, “How can any foreign thing be a ‘nerve of someone’s throat’? No external country has any right in India’s internal affairs. Jammu and Kashmir is a part of India and a union territory. We have just a relationship with Pakistan to vacate POK (Pak Occupied Kashmir), which he has occupied illegally.”

General Munir had earlier addressed the Pakistanis living abroad and said that India and Pakistan are two different countries. He said, “We are not one. Our ancestors have made a lot of struggle and sacrifice to create Pakistan. We know how to protect our country.”
