Pakistan Train Hijack News: On Tuesday (March 11, 2025) in Balochistan, Pakistan, the Baloch Liberation Army (BLA) hijacked the Jafar Express. According to Pakistani news channel Dawn, Pakistani security forces have killed all the BLA boys present in the train. It is being told that now the work of removing the hostages is being done.
Explosion and passengers made hostage
The Jafar Express train was going from Quetta to Peshawar in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa when the militants used explosives to baptist and capture it. There were about 450 passengers in 9 coaches of the train. According to security sources, security forces have saved a large number of hostages, including women and children. Terrorists were using the rescued citizens as a human shield.

How many passengers have died in this incident are being traced. Officials said that all the terrorists present at the scene have been killed. BLA suicidal attackers held women and children hostage at three different places. According to Pakistan’s Home Ministry, 70 to 80 terrorists were involved in this incident. The United Nations condemned the terrorist attack on the Quetta-Peshare passenger train in Balochistan. The United Nations chief stressed that attacks on common citizens are unacceptable.
This is the first time that the BLA or any militant group in Balochistan province has resorted to hijack the passenger train, although last year they increased the attacks on security forces, establishments and foreigners in various parts of the province. Pakistan Railways resumed train services from Quetta to Peshawar after suspension of more than one and a half months.
