According to the latest report of the Global Terrorism Index 2025, the number of deaths in Pakistan has increased dangerously in 2024. While 748 people died in terrorist attacks in 2023, in 2024 this number reached 1,081, which is an increase of about 45%.
Due to this increase, Pakistan has now finished second among the most affected countries in the world. The report said that areas such as Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Balochistan of Pakistan have become centers of extremist activities, where both security forces and common citizens are constantly being targeted.
