According to CNN, Trump said, ‘We will find out what is the opinion of everyone and I will know in the first 5 minutes whether our meeting will be good or bad. If the meeting is bad then it will end very quickly and if good, peace will be restored soon.
Russia occupies Ukraine 20% so far
At the same time, before meeting Putin in Alaska, President Trump claimed, ‘He will not do that tricks on me. Vladimir Putin wants peace in Ukraine and Alaska will not mess up the summit. Trump claimed that if I had not been a President, in my opinion, Russia would occupy the entire Ukraine, but I am President and he would not play with me. At the same time, Russian External Affairs Minister Sergei Lavarov said that useful talks are expected to continue during the US-Russia summit to be held in Alaska on Friday.
Putin’s first western trip after the war began
