Pakistan on Kashmir: Pakistan’s Parliament on Tuesday unanimously passed a resolution, which has reiterated the demand for a referendum from India to a referendum in Kashmir. The Government of India has rejected this demand of Pakistan many times.
According to the news of ‘Radio Pakistan’, Kashmir Affairs Minister Amir Mukam introduced this proposal in the House, which confirmed Pakistan’s ‘unwavering moral, political and diplomatic support’ for the right to self -determination of Kashmiri people.
However, this is not the first time that such a resolution has been passed in support of Kashmiris in the Pakistani Parliament. However, the reason for Tuesday’s proposal is not yet clear.
It states, “The proposal pays homage to the brave Kashmiris and their sacrifices; A call has been made to improve the condition of human rights; There has been a demand to release the detained Kashmiri leaders and cancel all oppressive laws. ”
Article-370, which has given special status to Jammu and Kashmir on August 5, 2019, and the state of Jammu and Kashmir is already divided into two central territories (Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh). The relationship declined further.
India has repeatedly told Pakistan that Jammu and Kashmir was an integral part of the country, and always will be.
The proposal has strongly condemned the alleged human rights violations in Kashmir and the ‘illegal’ actions of August 5, 2019.
The proposal states that the solution to the Jammu and Kashmir dispute is’ important to ensure peace and stability in South Asia as per the proposals of the United Nations Security Council and the aspirations of the Kashmiri people.
Mukam said that the United Nations should play its role in resolving the dispute related to Jammu and Kashmir. He reiterated that the people of Pakistan are standing firmly with their Kashmiri brothers and sisters.
