Usa news: The US Secret Service shot a person on Sunday (March 9) near the White House. The statement issued by the Secret Service said that the person had weapons and was trying to enter the White House.

After the confrontation, the secret service agents who reached the spot shot the person. During this time President Donald Trump was not present in the White House.

Police gave information

Giving information about this, the agency said, ‘The local police had informed the Secret Service of a suicide person, who was traveling from Indiana to Washington DC. During this time, the secret service agents near 17th and F Street, NW saw a person’s vehicle.

After this, he also saw the person who matched the information received from the local police standing nearby. When the secret service agents tried to stop him, he took out his weapon, after which the secret service agents shot him.

Secret service released a statement

The Secret Service said in its statement, “The person has been taken to the hospital, although no information has been revealed about his condition.” Secret Service spokesman Anthony Guiglilmi wrote on the social media platform X, ‘As soon as the person came to the person, he waved a gun, after which an armed conflict started. During this, our personnel opened fire. No secret service agent has been injured in this incident.

He further said, “The incident is being investigated by the Department of Internal Affairs of the Metropolitan Police Department, which investigates all the incidents of firing law enforcement officers in Columbia district.”
