Us sanctions on 4 Indian companies: The US has banned four companies in India, as these companies are involved in the trade of crude oil and petroleum products in Iran. The US State Department made this announcement on Monday (February 24, 2025). This decision has been taken by the Trump government to prevent Iran’s oil sales. The US Treasury Department’s Foreign Property Control Office (OFAC) and the US State Department banned more than 30 persons and ships in various countries. Four companies of India are also in this list, but they also tell you what Indian companies have relations with Iran.
According to information received from OFAC and US State Department, four Indian companies- Flux Maritime LLP in Navi Mumbai, BSM Marine LLP in National Capital Region (NCR), Austinship Management Private Limited and Cosmos Lines Ink at Tanjavur. Three out of four companies were banned because it is a technical manager in the transport of Iranian oil and petroleum products, while Cosmos Lines have been banned to join the transport of Irani petroleum.

OFAC said, “The banned list includes the United Arab Emirates Oil Brokers and Hong Kong, India’s tanker operator and manager, People’s Republic of China, head of Iran’s National Irani Oil Company and Iranian Oil Terminal Company. The operations of these companies used to fund the activities of Iran. Banned ships and hundreds of million dollars of crude oil are responsible for tens of barrels of barrels.
Funding used to destabilize global security
The US State Department said that Iran supports its nuclear weapons, ballistic missiles and terrorists to vulnerable to the world’s security. Iran’s oil exports are illegally done in many jurisdictions. This action taken by the Trump government has been taken to prevent Iran’s unstable activities.
