Earthquake in Taiwan: Taiwan A 5.0 magnitude earthquake occurred in the sea at the sea of Taitung County at around 1:09 pm on Thursday afternoon (local time). According to CENC, its center was located at a depth of 15 km above sea level. The tremors of the earthquake were so strong that they were also felt in Fuzhou, Quanzhou and other areas of Fuzian province in East China.
