Greenland PM on Donald Trump: Greenland Prime Minister Mute Egade has given a statement about US President Donald Trump. According to the AFP report, Greenland’s PM Mute Egade told Danish Public Radio on Monday (March 10) in the earlier evening of the legislative election of the autonomous Danish region, “US President Donald Trump, who wants to capture Greenland, is very unexpected i.e. his behavior cannot be estimated.”
He said, “On the one hand, arrangements around the world are staggering on many fronts and on the other side there are President of the United States Donald Trump, who are absolutely unpredictable and that is why people feel insecure.”
He said, “In his speech in the US Congress last week, President Trump reiterated his plans and argues that the United States needs this huge Arctic Island in view of national and international security.” PM Egade said, “It has been a big issue of election campaign of this region to set Greenland to get freedom from Denmark.”

PM Egade said, “Regarding Greenland’s independence, President Trump said that we fully support your right to determine your future. But if you want, we welcome you to the United States. ” Trump had said that he is confident that America will achieve Greenland in some way or the other.
President Trump did not honor us
The members of the Republican Party laughed a lot on these plans of Trump in the US Congress, but the people of Greenland have considered it their insult. PM Mute Egade said, “We want us to be seen with respect too, but I do not think that the US President has done his position since he has done so.” He further said, “Whatever the US President has done recently, it means that you do not want to go as close to America as you wanted to go before.”
