India Sends Relief to Myanmar Thailand after Powerful Earthquake PM Modi Disaster Relief Rescue Operation

Myanmar earthquake: After the horrific earthquake in Myanmar, India has immediately sent more than 15 tonnes of relief material as humanitarian aid. The C-130J aircraft of the Indian Air Force (IAF) flew from Hindon Air Force Station and reached Myanmar with relief material. This aid package includes tents, sleeping bags, blankets, food prepared food, water purifier, hygiene kit, solar lamps, generator sets and essential medicines such as paracetamol, antibiotics, syringes, gloves and straps. According to the National Center for Sisamology (NCS), on Friday (March 28) at 11:50 pm, Myanmar caused a 7.2 magnitude earthquake which caused panic in the entire area. The center of this earthquake was at a depth of 10 km from the ground, which increased the chances of coming out of the afterchox. A few minutes later Indian time, another earthquake of 6.4 magnitude occurred, which further increased the damage.

Shocks also felt in Thailand, people came out of their homes

The tremors of this powerful earthquake were not limited to Myanmar only but were also felt in many other areas including Bangkok in Thailand. According to eyewitnesses and local media reports, many buildings started shaking in Bangkok due to earthquake tremors, due to which people immediately came out of homes and offices. In the viral video on social media, it was seen that the water of the swimming pool came out like waves and in some places small buildings were damaged. This earthquake has created an atmosphere of fear in the whole of Southeast Asia.

Earthquake in Myanmar havoc

This earthquake caused huge havoc in Myanmar. Several buildings collapsed due to earthquake in several cities including the capital NAPEDO and Mandalay. A 30 -storey skyscraper under construction in Chaturchak district fell completely in which 43 laborers were trapped. According to the report of The Nation News, rescue teams have been deployed to save the workers working in this building. In a video, a bridge on the Iravadi river of Myanmar is seen collapsing due to the tremors of earthquake, which has completely stalled the traffic.

Prime Minister Modi expressed concern

Prime Minister Narendra Modi He expressed deep concern over this disastrous earthquake and said that India will provide all possible help to Myanmar and Thailand. He tweeted on the social media platform X and said, ‘I am concerned about the situation caused by the horrific earthquake in Myanmar and Thailand. I pray for the safety and goodness of all the people there. India is ready for all possible help in this difficult time. India has already sent relief during natural disaster in Nepal, Türkiye and other countries and this time too it has proved its friendship and sensitivity.

Relief and rescue operations continue

Relief and rescue operations are going on fast after this earthquake in Myanmar and Thailand. Local administration and international agencies are engaged in assessing the damage. Disaster management teams are engaged in removing people trapped in the debris and providing treatment to the injured. It is estimated that many buildings have suffered serious damage in this earthquake and thousands of people have become homeless. In view of the possibility of the earthquake, people have been advised to remain active.
