General Binay Pradhan of the Indian Embassy in New York City, USA organized a special discussion on Monday (24 February), whose title was, ‘Self-knowledge from Mahakumbh, the world’s largest spiritual confluence Mahakumbh’. This special event of the Indian Embassy was attended by George Paulo Lemon Professor Tarun Khanna of Harvard Business School, Diana Jujul, Professor Diana of Compatitive Religion and Indian Studies at Harvard Divinity School, and Assistant Professor Tiona Jujul, Assistant Professor of Business Administration of Harvard Business School.

During the discussion, all the professors shared self-knowledge and experiences achieved from their on-ground research conducted during the 2013 Kumbh Mela. Apart from this, he also described various aspects of this year’s fair, including spirituality and engineering from administration and tradition, technology and coincidence of Economics.

Professor Tarun Khanna, while addressing this special discussion organized by the General of the Indian Embassy in New York, spoke about various aspects, including cleanliness and technology at the Kumbh Mela. He said, “As a scholar, I am very excited to see such a confluence of tradition and technology because society develops in this way.” He further said, “Kumbh Mela is a very attractive place, where technology can be seen with religion. 2025 k Mahakumbh It was called a clean Kumbh and it is in a senseless clean. “
Professor Diana said that Kumbh Mela is a great journey. But the most surprising thing in this is that this entire fair city has been prepared in a very short time. Apart from this, engineering team, electric substation, an urban environment, health facilities and small industries have also been added to it. He said about the need for temporary arrangements for a large number of refugee population, “Kumbh Mela is a very good example of preparing normal structures with ordinary things in a short time.”
At the same time, Professor Tiona Julul, who came to India for the first time, was a part of the research team of Professor one and discussed the logistical challenges and solutions at the Kumbh Mela. She said that she hopes that she expects back to India in the next Kumbh in 2037.
