New research by scientists shows that formation of plate tectonics on Earth Before 4.5 Arab Year

Scientist over earth formation: Plate tectonics is a geological process occurring on the surface of the earth, in which the solid outer layer of the earth is divided into several tectonic plates, which slowly moves slowly due to the convection currents caused by the heat of the mantle. Plate Tectonics proves to be helpful for the earth in many ways. Due to this, the construction of continents and oceans has been possible. It also contributes to the origin of life on earth.

Scientists at Oxford University, Curtin University, Queensland University of Technology and University of Leone studied the Earth’s 4.5 billion years old mental and chemical composition of crust. This research has been published in the prestigious Journal Nature, in which scientists tried to find out by using mathematical modeling and chemical analysis that when the earth’s core was being formed and the surface was covered with melted lava, what processes were happening inside the earth.

What was revealed in research?
Scientists found in research that the first surface of the earth has the same chemical characteristics like the Continental Crust in the Protocrust. This indicates that the chemical identity indicating the onset of Plate Tectonics was present from the time of the formation of the earth.

Plate Tectonics and Continental Crust
Earlier scientists believed that the continental crust succeeded in developing its specific chemical identity only after the commencement of Plate Tectonics. However, according to the new research, this chemical identity of the continental crust was present from the beginning and over time it was again ready and got into the island arcs. This discovery suggests that scientists have to find another indicator to find out the onset of plate tectonics.

Scientists believe that the plate dissolution helped maintain the climate balance and biological processes of the earth. This process gives rise to hydrothermal vents, which must have been energy sources for ancient life. This study can provide new information about the origin of life on earth.
