NFL to fine players for reselling Super Bowl tickets at a profit

NFL is breaking on the resale of super bowl tickets by players, coaches and club employees.

The league plans that according to an internal memorandum by the League’s Chief Compliance Officer, Sabrina Perell, there are plans to impose fines to more than 100 players and about two dozen club employees found in a violation of NFL’s ticket resale policy in connection with the Super Bowl 59 tickets, which was seen by the CNBC.

An investigation found that the players and personnel were selling these tickets to resume “bundlers” on profit.

The players will be fined 1.5 times on the inscribed price of tickets sold by them, and the employees will be mentioned twice, according to the person familiar with the case, who refused to speak about the non -public details.

According to Memo, non-Khiladi personnel found in violation of policy will also lose their ability to buy future NFL tickets.

The League Super Bowl is also taking steps to increase compliance training before 60 and said that it will increase punishment for future offenses.

Perell wrote in the memo, “No one should benefit from his NFL affiliation at the cost of our fans.”
